Christian Eriksen has taken to Twitter to post a message to Tottenham Hotspur fans following his departure from the club.
The 27-year-old yesterday completed his move to Italian giants Inter Milan for a fee of around £16.9m and signed a contract which will keep him with the Serie A outfit until 2024 (BBC).
Eriksen admitted that he wanted to try something new despite having been in North London for the last six and a half years whilst also expressing that he enjoyed being at the Hotspur Way training ground and playing at the stadium.
The Dane revealed last summer just days after the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool that he wanted to seek a new challenge away from the club whilst inviting interest from Real Madrid, only for a move to Spain to fail to materialise (Ekstra Bladet).
In total, he made 305 appearances in Spurs colours and scored on 69 occasions.
