Today seems to be a quiet news day with one of the very few transfer rumours surfacing claiming to be a move for Ajax’s Christian Eriksen.
According to the report, the Danish playmaker has told his agent that he will be making the switch to Tottenham in the summer.
Eriksen’s contract runs out in 2014 and is valued at £12million by the Dutch giants. He could follow Jan Vertonghen in swapping Ajax for White Hart Lane.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Inter Milan have all been credited with interest – but it seems as if any deal involving us hinges on Spurs qualifying for Champions League football next season.
