Mauricio Pochettino has selected his Tottenham Hotspur team which will face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium this evening.
The Spurs players have the opportunity to become legends and bring home the first European Cup in the club’s illustrious history.
Liverpool go into the game as favourites having done the double over Spurs this season and finished 26 points ahead in the Premier League table. However, Mauricio Pochettino and his players have shown that they refuse to roll over and won’t accept defeat.
This is only the second all-English European Cup final (Manchester United v Chelsea in 2008 the other) and only the third in all European competition (the other was the 1972 UEFA Cup final between Tottenham and Wolves)
