Confirmed Line Up: Olympiacos vs Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur begin their Champions League campaign this evening with a tough trip to Olympiacos.

Mauricio Pochettino has named his starting eleven which will take to the field in Athens with his side looking to begin life in Group B with a victory.

Last season, Tottenham made it all the way to the final only to produce a disappointing performance in the final where they lost 2-0 to Liverpool.

Olympiacos came through the qualifying stages having beaten Russian side Krasnodar over two legs. They have made an impressive start to the season having won three out of three matches domestically, scoring thirteen goals and only conceding one in return.

Tottenham also come into the game on the back of a healthy 4-0 win against Aston Villa where there was a noticeable difference in how the side adopted more of an attacking approach while there was more of ‘press’ adopted when not in possession.

Here’s the Tottenham field which will take to the field this evening.

Tottenham: Lloris (C), Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies, Winks, Ndombele, Eriksen, Dele, Lucas, Kane.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Walker-Peters, Dier, Sissoko, Wanyama, Lamela, Son
