Confirmed Line Up: West Ham vs Tottenham Hotspur

Jose Mourinho has named his first Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in an hour’s time against West Ham United.

The Portuguese begins his challenge of helping Spurs climb the table from the unfamiliar position of fourteenth place as they look to push for a top four finish and another campaign of Champions League football.

Mourinho is without Hugo Lloris (elbow), Erik Lamela (hamstring) and Michel Vorm (calf) who were all ruled out on Thursday (Spurs official).

Spurs will be looking to Harry Kane to continue his fine form from England’s recent international fixtures, Kane has scored 28 goals in 45 Premier League London derbies – only Thierry Henry (43), Teddy Sheringham (32) and Frank Lampard (32) have netted more goals in such games. Kane averages a goal every 132 minutes in these fixtures, second only to Thierry Henry (one every 114 minutes, minimum 10 goals).

This is who starts for Tottenham this afternoon:

Tottenham Hotspur: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Dier, Winks, Dele, Lucas, Son, Kane (C)

Subs: Austin, Foyth, Rose, Walker-Peters, Sissoko, Eriksen, Lo Celso
