Confirmed Line Up: Wolves vs Tottenham Hotspur

Jose Mourinho has picked his Tottenham Hotspur side to face Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.

Spurs are also likely to restore many first-choice players, who were rested for the midweek trip to Bayern Munich including Serge Aurier, Jan Vertonghen, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

The North London side travel to Molineux facing an in-form Wolves team who have gone 11 league games without defeat (W5, D6) – they haven’t had a better unbeaten run in the top flight since 1959.

Tottenham have lost 10 of their last 14 Premier League away games (W1 D3) – their previous 10 defeats on the road came across a 44-game spell. In fact, Spurs last suffered more away league defeats in a single calendar year back in 2006 (11).

With Leicester and Chelsea both dropping points yesterday, a win against Wolves represents a chance to close the gap on some of the top four.

This is who features for Tottenham:

Tottenham Hotspur: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Dier, Sissoko, Dele, Son, Lucas, Kane (C).

Subs: Whiteman, Foyth, Sessegnon, Skipp, Winks, Eriksen, Lo Celso
