Confirmed Line Ups: Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester City

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has picked his side which will face Leicester City at Wembley Stadium this afternoon.

Nothing less than three points will do for Spurs if they are to keep their title hopes alive following Liverpool’s win yesterday which extended their advantage at the top of the table to eight points.

Tottenham have won three of their last four Premier League games against Leicester City (L1), winning the last two in a row. They haven’t won three consecutive league matches versus the Foxes since February 1987.

Victory (or a dreaded defeat) for the home side would also see them extend their Premier League record of going 29 Premier League games without a single draw. The last top-flight team to have a longer run were Portsmouth between March 1928-February 1929 (38 games).

This is who starts for both sides:

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (C), Trippier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose, Winks, Sissoko, Skipp, Eriksen, Son, Llorente.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Alderweireld, Foyth, Aurier, Walker-Peters, Wanyama, Lucas

Leicester City: Schmeichel, Chilwell, Maguire, Evans, Pereira, Gray, Barnes, Maddison, Mendy, Ghezzal, Tielemans

Subs: Choudhury, Morgan, Vardy, Ward, Ndidi, Simpson, Okazaki
