Mauricio Pochettino has named his Tottenham Hotspur side for this afternoon’s match against Southampton.
As expected, the Spurs boss has made a number of changes to the side which were humbled by Colchester United in midweek in the Carabao Cup third round.
The Spurs faithful will be looking to see a much improved performance from the side after the poor start to the new campaign.
Tottenham have lost 10 of their 24 Premier League games so far in 2019, their most in a single calendar year in the competition since 2014 (12/38). Of ever-present sides over the two seasons, only Brighton (13), Watford (12) and Bournemouth (11) have lost more Premier League games this year than Spurs.
Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon both miss out through injury.
This is who starts for Tottenham this afternoon. Come on you Spurs.
