“Could be a risk” – Some Spurs fans react to news club have enquired about forward

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to a report linking the club with a move for Mainz forward Robin Quaison.

Bild claim that Tottenham have contacted the German club to find out how much he would cost this summer with the Swedish international having a year left to run on his contract (transfermarkt).

Quaison is comfortable operating as an attacker or on the left wing and enjoyed a respectable campaign in the Bundesliga last season having scored thirteen goals and provided two assists in in helping his side to finish in thirteenth place in the table (transfermarkt).

Mainz were hopeful earlier this year that the 26-year-old would commit his future to the club but to date has not put pen to paper (Bild).

Spurs struggled for firepower at the start of the year when they found themselves unable to call upon Heung-min Son and Harry Kane through injury.
