“Davies over Rose FFS” – Some Spurs fans react to the team vs Chelsea

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts after Mauricio Pochettino’s team was announced ahead of the game against Chelsea this evening.

The Spurs boss has made changes to the side which beat Chelsea on Sunday with many querying the decision to start Ben Davies at left-back in front of Danny Rose.

Rose was in superb form at Craven Cottage and offers more pace to try and cope with the threat of Eden Hazard, but instead, the Welshman gets the nod.

Elsewhere, Jan Vertonghen captains the side in the absence of Hugo Lloris as Paulo Gazzaniga continues to keep his place in goal for the Carabao Cup.

Pochettino has again put faith in Fernando Llorente to lead the attacking line, despite his disappointing display at the weekend which saw him score an own goal.

Lucas Moura returns but is named among the subs.
