Tottenham Hotspur are said to be on the verge of completing a deal for Honduran international Osman Chavez.
The 25-year-old operates as a central defender and is an international team-mate of Spurs midfielder Wilson Palacios.
“There is interest in Osman, but we cannot go into any details at this stage,” His English representative told skysports.com.
“Who would not like to play with Wilson and for a team like Tottenham?” Chavez admitted.
“It is a challenge to participate in a league as important as the English one.
“I thank God I have been able to start for the national side and show what I can do, as my performances during the World Cup qualifiers have spoken for themselves.”
