Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda is undergoing a medical at Blackburn Rovers this afternoon.
The French international was due to be n Tottenham’s squad last night for the Carling Cup tie against Doncaster, but after Blackburn’s bid in excess of £2million, he travelled to Ewood Park to hold talks.
Chimbonda will sign a three-year deal with Sam Allardyce’s side.
“Pascal is having his medical this afternoon and we expect everything to go successfully,” His agent Willie McKay told skysports.com.
“Talks are underway and Blackburn are offering Pascal a three-year deal with an option and we are hopeful of getting everything done very soon.”
