Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has taken to Twitter after being the victim of a robbery at his house (Daily Mail).
The 24-year-old was held at knifepoint by two male robbers during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
There were five people present at the property in Barnet including Dele’s girlfriend, brother Harry Hickford, his partner and a friend; all are said to have been left shaken by the criminal act.
The intruders reportedly entered through the back of the property and were wielding knives with the England international suffering a minor facial injury with the thieves making off with watches and jewellery.
The incident was reported to the police and CCTV footage is being analysed with no arrests made to date.
The Sun claimed that the former MK Dons player was playing pool with his girlfriend and brother when the masked raiders forced entry
Dele thanked everyone for their well-wishes following the incident which he described as a horrible experience.
Thank you for all the messages. Horrible experience but we’re all okay now. Appreciate the support.
