‘Done deal and confirmed’ – Journalist makes claim about Spurs transfer target

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have completed the deal for Tanguy Ndombele.

Romano, who writes for Sky Sport Italia, The Guardian and Di Marzio took to Twitter to make the claim that it is a ‘done deal and confirmed’.

Spurs are said to have agreed on a fee of €62m (£55.45m) plus €10m in add-ons for the French international, which smash the club’s current transfer record which stands at the £42m they paid to Ajax for Davinson Sánchez in 2017 (Guardian).

The Mail claimed earlier today that the 22-year-old is expected to undergo his medical today and has agreed to a five-year deal with the North London outfit.

Ndombele has been a long term target of Mauricio Pochettino’s and has been keen to fill the void left by Mousa Dembele when the Belgian left the club to move to China in January.

He is regarded as one of the brightest midfield talents in Europe and is a fantastic signing for the lilywhites.
