White Hart Lane - Tottenham Hotspur News

We recently caught up with Jogger, Everton fan and writer at www.bluekipper.com to get his opinion ahead of Saturday’s Premier League opener between Tottenham and Everton at White Hart Lane.

1. Everton have been very quiet during the transfer window.  Do you think you’ll sign anyone before the window “slams shut”?

We’re skint, so I don’t think we will get anyone. We just live in hope.

2.) Who do you consider as Tottenham’s dangerman?

Van der Vaart is a class act.

3.) How do you think Tottenham will fair this season?

I think they have a good chance of a top four finish. As long as your higher than Liverpool.

4.) What are your hopes for the season?  Where do you think Everton will finish

Everton will do the usual. We will finish top half and hopefully a cup win would be ideal.

5.) Would you be happy with the latest rumour of Jack Rodwell coming to us and Peter Crouch coming to you?

We certainly will not be happy. Jack has got great potential and has a great future. Peter Crouch is not our favourite player. He has never been a regular player wherever he’s played. How can someone so tall not be good in the air.

6.) Your near neighbours Liverpool have been spending big.  Do you think they can challenge for the title this season?

No chance.

7.) Robbie Keane, Jermaine Jenas or Peter Crouch – Which would you most like Everton to sign?

Jermaine Jenas for me.

8.) How long before David Moyes gets fed up of having no money to spend and goes elsewhere?

It’s a big season for David Moyes. I hope he stays for long time to come but I have my doubts.

9.) Your score prediction for the match

A draw would be a good start for us. 1-1

  1. The only draw he will get is from is fag if he smokes a great start for Spurs 3-0 Crouch with his head and leg Defoe thother DAVSPURS SURROUNDED BY BLUE NOSES AND RED FACES IN WIDNES

  2. Rubbish responses! Plus, no Evertonian would tip Spurs to challenge for 4th. They’ll be lucky to finish top-7. Fourth will be the Arse, 5th Liverpool, 6th Everton with Spurs or Villa in 7th.
