Tottenham Hotspur dismantled Everton on their own turf on Sunday in the Premier League and one of their own certainly did not pull any punches.
Former Toffees and Wales goalkeeper Neville Southall holds iconic status with the blue half of Merseyside and is known for his refreshing and unfiltered views when it comes to football.
After watching Tottenham brush aside Marco Silva’s men 6-2, Southall took to Twitter to post a refreshingly honest assessment of the game, when so many former ex-pro’s are afraid to say how it is in fear of the team they once played for stopping them from earning a few quid as hosts in the hospitality areas of the ground where they once graced.
A brace of goals from Heung-min Son and Harry Kane along with right-footed efforts from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli showed that Tottenham are certainly the real deal when it comes for challenging for the Premier League title.
Got to give spurs credit best I have seen at our place for a few years
