For the time being, he does not sign – Agent in warning to Spurs

It looks as if one of Tottenham Hotspur’s longest-serving players could be heading out of the door this summer, if his agent’s comments are to be believed.

Tom De Mul, who represents Mousa Dembele has stated to the Dutch media that the midfielder is the subject of interest from a number of clubs both in Europe and outside, which adds fuel to the fire that he could be off to China for a big payday.

Dembele is out of contract at Spurs next summer and has previously admitted that he did not want to even consider discussing a potential new contract until the World Cup has ended at the very least.

There have been concerns about the 30-year-old’s long-term fitness after undergoing foot surgery last season, but has also put in some fantastic performances, notably against Juventus in Turin where he was an absolute beast in the middle of the park.

De Mul told a Dutch news source: “Mousa has another one year contract with Tottenham, he has played a fantastic season and there is a lot going on around him, there is a lot of interest inside and outside of Europe, we are waiting for the World Cup and I hope he plays in Russia, because he deserves that after such a good season. Avoid a difficult last year like Alderweireld? For the time being, Mousa does not sign.”
