Former player reacts to Heung-min Son’s return to Tottenham

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Paul Miller has taken to Twitter to share his reaction to the news that Heung-min Son will be returning to the club.

Son was on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup but suffered a shock defeat by Qatar, with Abdulaziz Hatem’s 78th minute goal enough to send the 2022 World Cup hosts through to the semi-finals of the competition.

The 26-year-old jetted off to the tournament after the defeat to Manchester United and has missed the matches against Fulham and Chelsea. He will also not be part of the Spurs squad for Sunday’s FA Cup clash at Crystal Palace.

His return to Tottenham will prove to be a timely boost considering the fact that Harry Kane and Dele Alli are both not expected to return to training until early March due to their respective injuries.

Son has already scored 12 times this season for Spurs and Miller believes that he shoudl be named among the substitutes at Selhurst Park.
