Former Spur sends message of support to players ahead of Bournemouth match

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts has sent a message of support to some of the players ahead of tomorrow’s match against Bournemouth.

Roberts took to Twitter to say “Let’s get the job done tomorrow” to Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Victor Wanyma, Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko, Kieran Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Fernando Llorente and Lucas Moura.

Victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s side would guarantee themselves a place in the top four and also qualification for next season’s Champions League, which would be the shot in the arm they need ahead of Wednesday night’s second leg against Ajax.

Heung-min Son is expected to return to the starting line up following his one-match European suspension, but Spurs will be without Serge Aurier, Harry Kane, Erik Lamela and Harry Winks due to injury.

It remains to be seen what side Pochettino will select against the Cherries with one away on the match against Ajax where his side must overturn a 1-0 loss from the first leg to book their place in the final.

Here’s what Roberts had to say on Twitter.
