Former Spur tragically passes away at the tender age of 49

Leyton Orient have confirmed the terrible news that their manager Justin Edinburgh has passed away via a statement on their website.

The 49-year-old spent last weekend in Madrid with his former Tottenham Hotspur team mates and fellow legends for the Champions League final against Liverpool and suffered a heart attack on Monday after returning to England and was admitted to hospital where he sadly died, today.

Edinburgh played for Spurs between 1990 and 2000, featuring over 200 times and helped the club to win both the FA Cup and League Cup during his decade in North London.

He was currently the manager of Leyton Orient and had guided the club to promotion to League Two this season.

Our thoughts are with Justin’s wife Kerri and their children Charlie and Cydnie at this very tragic time.

Tottenham Hotspur have reacted to the sad news by offering their condolences with a post on Twitter.
