Pedro Porro has been training with his Tottenham teammates for the first time this week after completing a deadline-day move from Sporting Lisbon on January 31.
That gave Porro a few days to make the move from Lisbon to London, and meet all of his new teammates ahead of the huge clash against his former employers, Manchester City, this weekend.
It was a transfer saga of twists and turns for Spurs in January, with Fabrizio Romano first reporting an agreement had been reached before Record announced that Sporting may have moved the goalposts.
The Times confirmed that the Lisbon side wanted to charge Spurs an extra £2.6m for administration fees. Eventually, Spurs paid a £4.3m loan fee and £37.3m in an additional obligation to buy, as well as 15% of their Marcus Edwards sell-on fee, to get their man (Daily Mail and Record).

Spurs Web Opinion:
I hope to see Porro walk straight into the starting XI, if not against Man City then next weekend against Leicester City. Just like Conte did with Kulusevski and Bentancur last year, let’s throw him in the deep end and see if he can hit the ground running.
