Tottenham Hotspur took on Tranmere Rovers in the third round of the FA Cup last night, and booked their place in Monday night’s draw in some style.

Despite a cagey first half, Spurs took the lead through an impressive Serge Aurier 25-yard strike, before they dismantled the League Two side in the second half with six further goals.

Seven-nil was the final scoreline, making that 22 goals from the last five games for Tottenham.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will now turn their attention to Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Chelsea at Wembley.
