Match Summary

Tottenham Hotspur left it late to take all three points from the Premier League encounter against Burnley, but once again showed their character to grind out results.

The Clarets came to London with a game plan to try and frustrate what is normally a free flowing Spurs side and set up with eleven men behind the ball for the majority of the game.

Pochettino’s side did have their chances to break the deadlock with Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela and Heung-min Son all with good opportunities, but failed to find the back of Joe Hart’s net.

When the 90th minute came, it looked as if it would be a case of two points dropped but Christian Eriksen came off the bench to score a winner in injury time to show that Spurs are not going to roll over in any outside chance of a title race.
