Tottenham Hotspur have qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with two games still to play following a memorable night at Wembley.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side swept aside the current European champions, Real Madrid with a fantastic 3-1 win.

Dele Alli gave Tottenham the lead after 27 minutes when he prodded home a ball across the six yard box from Kieran Trippier to send the home fans into frenzy. Minutes earlier, Toby Alderweireld had to be replaced by Moussa Sissoko after suffering a hamstring injury.

Spurs took their 1-0 lead into the half time break and nine minutes later Dele Alli doubled our lead, courtesy of a deflection from Sergio Ramos.

Christian Eriksen added a third, for Ronaldo to pull one back for Madrid. But in the end it was Tottenham’s night – one we will always remember!
