Gary Lineker takes to Twitter to react to Heung-min Son’s stunning goal

Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react to Heung-min Son’s goal against Burnley.

The South Korean picked up the ball near his own penalty box and set off, beating one man, two men, three. Suddenly it opened up completely and he is able to charge on before slotting past Nick Pope to make it 3-0 to the home side.

Lineker, who scored his fair share of goals for Spurs during his playing career described Son’s effort as one of the greatest individual goals that a person is ever likely to see whilst also claiming that it is the best goal of the season to date.

Spurs were ruthless against the Clarets, who were awful defensively.

Just as important as the 5-0 scoreline was the fact that Jose Mourinho’s side were able to keep a rare clean sheet. The Portuguese had previously seen his team concede two goals in each of his opening four matches in charge.
