Mabbutt recovers from op – Leave your messages of support

Former Tottenham captain Gary Mabbutt is recovering in hospital following emergency surgery.

The legendary Spurs defender was rushed to Kings College Hospital in London after suffering a circulation blockage in his left leg.

He will spend the next two weeks in hospital under observation as he recovers from the operation.  He was a rock in the heart of our defence for many years and lifted the 1990 FA Cup as our captain.

Mabbutt made 482 appearances for Spurs in a 16-year spell at White Hart Lane.
