“Gazzaniga would have saved that” – Some Spurs fans fume at Vorm

Tottenham Hotspur fans have wasted no time in blasting Michel Vorm after the goalkeeper made an absolute howler of a mistake to gift Liverpool the lead at Wembley.

Vorm who is deputising for the injured Hugo Lloris, directly he made a mess of punching the ball in his own penalty area and then couldn’t get his position right to deal with Georginio Wijnaldum’s header which went in above his head.

The Dutchman is just a little over 6 feet and his lack of height for a goalkeeper was plain to see for Liverpool’s opener. A massively frustrating way to go behind in the game.
