Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted furiously after Heung-min Son was sent off against Bournemouth.

The South Korean was given his marching orders by referee Craig Pawson for an uncharacteristic reaction where Son pushed over Lerma following a scuffle.

Spurs must now play the remaining 45 minutes with just ten men in what is a crucial match for their hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table.

Mauricio Pochettino can count himself lucky that Eric Dier was not earlier sent off and was also involved in what could have easily been a penalty for Bournemouth.

It was a foolish heat of the moment from Son who completely lost his cool in a match where it looked like it would only be a matter of time before they made the breakthrough.

Hopefully, his rashness does not end up coming to haunt Spurs come the end of the season.

  1. We are doomed. We always create our own downfall come every end of the season. Trust my words, we are going to play Europa League next season in our new stadium and we deserved it….Very frustrated fan here…

  2. Speechless
    Ruined the weekend
Unacceptable – supposed to be professional
Now real chance of ending up with nothing but Europa league
