Graham Roberts sums up Tottenham’s chances of beating Manchester City in CL

Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to react to the Champions League draw which took place earlier this morning.

Tottenham Hotspur will face fellow Premier League side Manchester City in the quarter final of the competition. The winners will take on either Ajax or Juventus in the semi-final.

While Mauricio Pochettino’s side comfortably beat Borussia Dortmund in the last round, City demolished Schalke 10-2 on aggregate.

Spurs have already faced City once this season when Pep Guardiola’s side were 1-0 winners on a poor Wembley pitch in October.

The first leg of the Champions League tie will be played at Tottenham’s new 62,062 seater stadium on 9/10 April, with the return leg scheduled for 16/17 April.

Roberts admits that Spurs face a tough test in their draw, but has the belief that they can make it through to the next round.

The draw against City means that Spurs will face them three times in April, with a Premier League trip to the Ethiad also scheduled to take place on 20th April.
