Harry Kane sends a message to Spurs team-mates after 4-0 win

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane took to Twitter to praise his team-mates following their emphatic 4-0 win against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League this afternoon.

Kane, who is currently sidelined potentially for the remainder of the season following the significant ankle injury he sustained on Tuesday night in the Champions League quarter final first leg against Manchester City showed his class by congratulating hat-trick hero Lucas Moura.

Victor Wanyama put Spurs on track with a neat finish in the first half before Lucas Moura showed an emphatic finishing display with three well-taken goals to give Mauricio Pochettino plenty to think about ahead of Wednesday’s second leg at the Etihad.

Spurs are still unbeaten at their brand new 62,062 capacity seater stadium and have scored seven goals with no reply.

The lunchtime win sends Spurs back up to third and with three of their remaining six league games at their new stadium many will be expecting them to secure a top four finish.

Here’s what Kane had to say on Twitter.
