Harry Kane sends classy message amid coronavirus pandemic

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has taken his harry kane instagram story to post a message of thanks to those who work within the National Health Service.

The NHS are coming under intense pressure as a result of the coronavirus pandemic (HSJ). Doctors working at fifteen trusts have already warned that health workers are risking their lives due to a lack of protective equipment to held limit their exposure to COVID-19 (Mirror).

Kane has been out of action since he suffered a tear to his left hamstring during the 1-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day.

The 26-year-old admitted earlier this month that he was targeting a return to action for Tottenham early next month (Evening Standard). However, it appears that Kane will now have more time to recover given the fact that the Premier League will be further postponed until no earlier than 30 April.

With UEFA having taken the decision to postpone EURO 2020 by a year, Kane has no reason to rush back to action before he is fully ready to do so.
