“Home, sweet home” – Spurs player sums up first visit to new stadium

Members of Mauricio Pochettino’s first team had the opportunity to train on the pitch of the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium for the very first time yesterday.

The Spurs boss used the training session to help familiarise his players with the stadium and facilities ahead of next Wednesday’s curtain-raiser against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

One player who was suitably impressed with what he saw was Paulo Gazzaniga. The Argentine took to Twitter to share his thoughts on what he saw.

Gazzaniga has overtaken Michel Vorm as Hugo Lloris’ understudy this season after a string of impressive performances which left some wondering whether he his ready to challenge Lloris for the starting position.
