Mourinho has decided to make three changes from the side which drew 1-1 against Manchester United with Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura replacing Harry Winks, Erik Lamela and Steven Bergwijn.
Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez keep their place at the heart of the Spurs defence with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen having to do with a place on the bench alongside club record signing Tanguy Ndombele.
