In-form Man Utd player struggling for Spurs match reveals Solskjaer

Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action on Sunday following the disappointing Champions League exit at RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

Manchester United are the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and are a team in form having avoided defeat in their last six Premier League matches.

Spurs trail the Old Trafford outfit by five points and are looking for their first win in the top flight in their last four outings.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he could be without the services of Anthony Martial for the clash.

Martial was absent in the Red Devils 5-0 Europa League win against LASK last night after he collided with a goalpost during the Manchester derby at the weekend.

The loss of Martial can only be considered as a boost for Spurs after the 24-year-old had scored in three of the last four Premier League outings for United (transfermarkt).

Speaking ahead of the tie against LASK, Solskjaer told the Daily Mail: ‘Anthony hurt himself when he slid into the post so he’s not ready for this game,’

‘Hopefully he can be ready for Sunday (against Tottenham) but I’m not sure. He’s struggling a little bit.’
