Italian side confirm the signing of Spurs-linked player

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a host of players throughout the summer transfer window with one such player being Andreas Skov Olsen (The Mirror).

Olsen was in outstanding form last season, having found the back of the net 19 times in the league for Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland while scoring 23 goals in all competitions.

Serie A side Bologna have confirmed that they have completed a deal to sign the 19-year-old.

The young Dane was into final year of his deal with Nordsjælland, who were faced with the choice of selling him this summer or risk losing him for free in a year’s time.

Olsen had also been linked to a move to domestic rivals FC Copenhagen, but has instead decided to make the switch to Italy (The Mirror).

Tottenham are instead being linked with higher profile targets with Giovano Lo Celso (The Sun) and Paulo Dybala (The Times) who are likely to be able to make more of an impact than what Olsen would be capable of, given the fact he is unproven in a ‘big’ league.
