Jack Wilshere makes laughable claim about Arsenal and Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are still living in the head of Jack Wilshere rent free after the injury prone midfielder once again tried to rile the lilywhites fanbase.

Wilshere, who came through the Arsenal academy before going on to make over 100 appearances for the Gunners before he was shown the door by Unai Emery following the conclusion of his contract last summer has previous form for his hatred of Spurs.

When fit, he can now be seen at another Spurs-obsessed club in West Ham United which are certainly a perfect fit for him. Living up to his injury-prone reputation, he managed just eight Premier League appearances last season.

Wilshere was asked about Arsenal’s new kit video in which defender Laurent Koscielny claims that Arsenal ‘run north London’ in a what is a laughable dig at Tottenham.

Spurs have finished above Arsenal in the Premier League in the last three seasons in a row and will once again play Champions League football while Arsenal continue to travel to the far-flung reaches of Europe to take on the minnows in the Europa League.

Wilshere told Football.London: “When I was a Gooner north London was always red. For me it is still is.

“I’m red in my heart.”
