AVB confirms midfielder deal on hold

Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that he has put Jake Livermore’s possible loan deal to QPR on hold.

AVB stopped sort of naming QPR as the club who want the Spurs midfielder, but with the news that Sandro has been ruled out for the rest of the season the manager has decide to reconsider the deal for the time being.

Scott Parker is expected to return to the Spurs starting line-up after he replaced the injured Brazilian during the first half at Loftus Road last weekend.

Andre Villas-Boas told his pre-match press conference: “The only thing we have done at the moment is hold on to our midfielders, the ones who are here. We have put on hold the movement of Jake Livermore’s possible loan to another club. It is not out of the question, I think we are still pretty happy with what we have.”
