Janssen travels abroad to discuss move

Vincent Janssen looks set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, with Fenerbahce his likely destination.

According to reports, the Turkish club have announcd that Janssen will arrive at Istanbul airport this afternoon to continue discussions. It is expected that Janssen will move on loan.

Janssen’s days at Spurs looked to be numbered after he was omitted from the Champions League squad in favour of fellow striker Fernando Llorente, who made a deadline day move from Swansea City.

He was said to have turned down a loan move to Premier League newcomers Brighton just before the window shut and now it appears that he’ll be playing his football abroad this season.

The £18.5million signing has only scored six times for Tottenham in 38 appearances.
