Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the news of Fernando Llorente’s own goal against Fulham.
Before the match, the Spurs faithful were hopeful of the Spaniard putting the ball in the net in place of
Harry Kane and he has only gone and scored at the wrong end.
Whilst defending a Fulham corner, the 33-year-old was caught flat footed when the ball was delivered into the six-yard box and it hit his leg and went beyond the helpless Hugo Lloris in the Spurs goal.
Moments earlier, the home side had the chance to take the lead when Ryan Babel outmuscled Davinson Sanchez and made his way through on goal only for a great save from Hugo Lloris to deny the Dutchman.
Llorente has since had a chance to level but saw his attempted header hit his shoulder instead.
An embarrassing moment for the former World Cup winner, Spurs have a lot of work to do, here.
Don’t worry levy, we don’t need any signings ?

Llorente’s first 25 minutes: embarrassingly low pass completion, offside, own goal, shouldered an amazing chance straight at the goalkeeper. Sissoko-level turn around needed.
