Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the news of Fernando Llorente’s own goal against Fulham.
Before the match, the Spurs faithful were hopeful of the Spaniard putting the ball in the net in place of

Harry Kane and he has only gone and scored at the wrong end.

Whilst defending a Fulham corner, the 33-year-old was caught flat footed when the ball was delivered into the six-yard box and it hit his leg and went beyond the helpless Hugo Lloris in the Spurs goal.

Moments earlier, the home side had the chance to take the lead when Ryan Babel outmuscled Davinson Sanchez and made his way through on goal only for a great save from Hugo Lloris to deny the Dutchman.

Llorente has since had a chance to level but saw his attempted header hit his shoulder instead.

An embarrassing moment for the former World Cup winner, Spurs have a lot of work to do, here.

  1. Pathetic that’s all i can say! Eriksen can go for £100 million as he can’t take a corner or beat the first man or take a free kick or CREATE anything all he does is pass 10 yards to the side everytime for someone else to create something FFS!!! Verts has created 4 times what Eriksen has and he is a defender! why do we all rave about him when he never steps up and just hides? our lack of striking options are for all to see now! it’s not Llorente’s fault he was being sold before Harry got injured! it’s tight Levy who won’t back us with what we need he is to tight and needs to go! we need new owners to win things that has been clear for many a year! what do we need to do for tight Levy to buy a player FFS!
