Joe Jordan’s post match thoughts vs Blackburn

Tottenham coach Joe Jordan was delighted with the players following the 4-2 win against Blackburn Rovers at White Hart Lane.

He said: “I though we played exceptionally well and should have been further ahead in the first half.

“Harry is a very positive guy. He wants to play on the front foot. We picked the team to win the game.

“We are disappointed we conceded two goals. But if you do drop your concentration level that is what will happen. At 4-0 up I thought we failed to pick-up the second balls.

“I don’t think it should take anything away from the result and the football we played. The way we played the game was fantastic. We played some great football.”

“At the moment Bale is a provider and he is also scoring goals,” added Jordan.

“He is so positive going forward but he also does a shift when we have not got the ball. He has got the energy to do that.

“I think Crouchy deserved it. He has scored his goals abroad this season. But to get it in the manner he did, typifies his game. He followed it up and pounced. It was a terrific goal.”
