Jose Mourinho reveals whether Gareth Bale could play against West Ham

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Gareth Bale has a chance to play against West Ham United on Sunday in the Premier League.

The Welshman started in the Europa League against Wolfsberger this evening and looked bright in the first half.

Spurs raced into a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute when Bale got in behind and flashed a cross into the box which Heung-min Son expertly nodded home.

Not long after, Bale made it two-goal contributions, this time grabbing one for himself as he got into the box, chopped back past his marker and rifled one into the top corner.

Bale continued to look sharp until the 64th minute when he was taken off for Erik Lamela and Mourinho has now revealed that he could play again on Sunday.

However, the Spurs head coach did add that Bale is experienced and his feelings regarding fitness and injuries are important when making such a decision.

Mourinho said (Alasdair Gold): “I know that the match is Sunday at 12 pm but I believe he has a chance to play. Let’s wait. He’s the kind of player also, who is experienced and his feelings are a very important thing, like Harry Kane.”
