Journalist claims Spurs could be without another player for Ajax tie

Tottenham Hotspur have certainly suffered more than their fair share of injuries this season.

At key times of the campaign, Mauricio Pochettino has been without the services of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Erik Lamela.

Tottenham go into tomorrow’s Champions League semi final second leg tie against Ajax looking to overturn a 1-0 loss from the clash in North London last Tuesday.

Football journalist Alasdair Gold has stated that central defender Davinson Sanchez has picked up an injury and could miss the return to his former club. Another player who will not take to the field according to Gold is Harry Kane, who is still recovering from his ankle problem.

Meanwhile, he believes that Erik Lamela could return and take a place on the bench following his hamstring injury.

Sanchez played the full 90 minutes of the defeat at Bournemouth at the weekend and started alongside Toby Alderweireld, with Jan Vertonghen sidelined as a precaution following the head injury he sustained against Ajax.
