Journalist claims there could be concern over Spurs player during warm-up

Evening Standard journalist Dan Kilpatrick has claimed that there has been a concern during Tottenham Hotspur’s pre match warm up against Crystal Palace.

Club captain Hugo Lloris is said to have walked out of the warm up ten minutes before the end and did not return to continue the goalkeeping drills.

Lloris has been impressive since returning to the side following his elbow injury which he suffered in the 3-0 defeat at Brighton in October.

The Frenchman has proven his quality in recent weeks with vital saves including a brilliant stop from Ayoze Perez against Leicester City when Spurs were leading 1-0.

If there is any lingering issues with Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga is named among the substitutes while Michel Vorm has also travelled with the squad.

Dutchman Vorm finds himself out of contract in North London following the match against Palace and is expected to leave the club as a free agent.

Update (15:56) – Thankfully Lloris has walked out with the rest of the Spurs side for kick-off and we’ll be keeping an eye on his fitness as the game unfolds.
