Journalist hints at new Spurs stadium update announcement

A football journalist who is known to be heavily involved with the daily coverage of the latest goings on at Tottenham Hotspur has claimed that he has heard there is imminent news expected on the new stadium.

Alasdair Gold believes that Spurs will tomorrow release a further update on the progress of the new 62,062 seater capacity stadium.

Tottenham are yet to confirm when they will move their new home and the dates of the two required test events that must be held before the stadium officially opens are also yet to be revealed.

6,000 season ticket holders will get the opportunity to visit the 17,500 seater south stand and also get to try out some of the food and drink on offer, along with some planned entertainment that takes place next Sunday.

Tottenham have already reached an agreement with Wembley to host the remainder of the matches in 2018 at the national stadium, with a further contingency in place to hold further games there in 2019 if the stadium is still not ready.
