Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction after the club were linked with a move for Alex Grimaldo.
A report from the Portuguese news outlet Record claims that the Premier League side are keen on the left-back but are not prepared to meet the valuation of the player.
Benfica are said to be demanding over £30million for the highly-rated former Spanish Under-21 international.
Serie A side Napoli are also interested in Grimaldo, but like Tottenham, they are not ready to meet Benfica’s valuation.
Tottenham Hotspur could be set to lose Danny Rose this summer with the 29-year-old currently on loan at Newcastle United for the remainder of the campaign with the North London outfit reported to be ready to sell if they receive a suitable transfer fee (iNews).
Should Rose depart, it would leave just Ben Davies as the club’s only senior left-back within Jose Mourinho’s squad.
