Kaboul to be ready for Everton

Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul could return to first-team action early next month following a knee injury.

The French defender has been out of action since picking up the injury in our opening day defeat at Newcastle in August and his return will represent a massive boost to our defence.

With Kaboul, Dawson and Vertonghen we have three quality central defenders alongside Steven Caulker. It is expected that William Gallas will leave the club during the summer.

Kaboul is now back in full training and could face Everton on April 7th.

“He has trained the last two days 100 per cent with the team,” the Tottenham manager said.

“He is going to rest on Friday and next week he is going to come back and train again with the team.

“If he doesn’t feel any pain, it can mean he will be match fit in 10 days if it all goes without interruption – 10-15 days.

“But we have to be careful because it is a very sensitive situation for him.”
