Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter following the confirmed team line up for this evening’s match at Cardiff City.
Mauricio Pochettino has made just one change from his side which started in the 3-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Danny Rose coming in for Ben Davies at left-back.
However, some sections of the fan base have questioned Pochettino’s decision to start Kieran Tripper at right-back instead of Kyle Walker-Peters after the England international’s diabolical performance in the second half against Wolves.
Trippier was well below his standard against Wolves. In total, Spurs gave away possession 109 times through misplaced passes and dispossessions, of which 18 were the fault of Trippier.
Kyle Walker-Peters gave an excellent account of himself during the 5-0 win against Bournemouth on Boxing Day when he provided three assists during the first half of the match but has yet to be given the opportunity to prove his worth since.
Here’s how some Spurs fans have reacted.

I never like/want to criticise our players but with Trippier’s continuous bad form surely it’s time to give KWP a proper run in the first team? #COYS
