Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their reaction following the news that the club have agreed a deal in principle with Southampton for the transfer of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Sky Sports claimed that a fee of around £15million has been agreed for the Danish midfielder with a separate transfer in the region of £12million to take Kyle Walker-Peters to the Saints on a permanent basis.
The finer details of the respective transfers are still to be agreed including payment structures and bonuses.
Hojbjerg has one year left on his contract at St Mary’s and made it clear that he wanted to wanted to leave the club which led to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl stripping him of the club captaincy (BBC).
Tottenham have been lacking the services of a holding midfielder since Eric Dier decided to change his position and operate as a central defender.
Some fans have been left impressed by Daniel Levy’s negotiating skills once more

Happy we've got hojbjerg but would of kept peters as an option weve got nobody if Aurier goes as looks likely.

As much as I like KWP you can’t argue with that deal. I’m not convinced on Holbjerg but if the manager wants him and Levy is backing him then we have to go with it.

Levy is just different. Told everyone on here after the Everton rumors that he will get it done for a decent price and I was right. Great deal

Southampton setting a 35 million pound price tag, Levy getting it to 15 million, christ.
