Levy’s Naughton valuation puts off Swansea

Swansea City’s hopes of signing Tottenham full-back Kyle Naughton appear to be in doubt over Daniel Levy’s valuation of the player.

Levy has put a £5million price tag on Naughton’s head, who has not featured for the first time since November.  His playing time is expected to become even more limited with the return to fitness of Kyle Walker and the arrival of the highly-rated DeAndre Yedlin to the club this month.

Swansea have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old since the summer and are known to be in the market to bolster their full-back ranks, but are unwilling to match Daniel Levy’s valuation.

It remains to be seen if Levy will try to wheel and deal by using Naughton as a potential makeweight in a deal for the prolific Swans striker Wilfried Bony, who is valued at £20million.
