Tottenham are still hoping to persuade Schalke to part company with Lewis Holtby in January and according to reports have offered £850,000.
The attacking midfielder is due to transfer to White Hart Lane in July on a free transfer, a knee injury to Snadro has left us a little short in the midfield ranks.
